1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use SocialBunny, and information from the social platforms you choose to connect.

Information you provide

• Account details — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Content & instructions — sample posts you supply to train your voice, drafts, prompts, and approvals you give your clone.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data — features used, actions taken, and timestamps.
• Device & log data — IP address, browser type, and diagnostic logs.
• Cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Information from connected platforms

When you connect an account (LinkedIn, X, Threads, and others) via OAuth, we receive access tokens and the profile, post, and analytics data needed to write, schedule, post, and measure performance on your behalf.

2. How we use information

• To learn your writing voice and generate drafts that sound like you.
• To predict performance, schedule, and publish content you approve.
• To pull analytics so we can improve recommendations over time.
• To operate, secure, and support the service, and to communicate with you.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. AI processing & your content

SocialBunny uses AI models (including the Anthropic Claude API) to model your voice, predict virality, and draft content. Your sample posts and drafts are sent to these models solely to generate output for you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your private content to train third-party foundation models. You remain the owner of your content, and nothing is published without your approval.

4. Connected social accounts

Access tokens for connected platforms are encrypted at rest and used only to perform actions you direct. You can disconnect any platform at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our stored token. We use each platform's API in accordance with its developer terms.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers — infrastructure, AI, and payment processors who act on our instructions under contract.
• Social platforms — to publish and retrieve content you have authorized.
• Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
• Business transfers — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

7. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, encrypted platform tokens, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in your dashboard, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Children's privacy

SocialBunny is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of SocialBunny after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
